I have been a resident of Ojai since 1996, a Ventura County resident since 1972 and a licensed Realtor since 1978. My career in real estate began with MacElhenny, Levy & Company in Santa Barbara, where I was Vice President of Marketing for California. I, (and my then husband) opened a real estate brokerage in 1978, Patterson & Silvernale Inc., Realtors, specializing in new home developments and residential real estate. After selling the brokerage we embarked on a 22,000 mile around-the-world sabbatical by bicycle. I have always been an explorer of the world, but this journey opened my eyes from an entirely different viewpoint. Helping others whether it be through community service or finding the home of their dreams is what makes me happy. I am grateful for the experiences that I have had which have given me the patience, compassion and mindfulness I feel it takes to be a great Realtor and person.

I currently serve on the Ojai Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; I am a member of the Ojai Community Hospital Foundation Guild; a dog therapy volunteer at the hospital’s Continuing Care Center; a member of the Ojai Women’s Fund; and co-captain of the OVAC tennis team. I also along with my husband, Ren, publish the Ojai Valley Directory, which has been serving residents and visitors to the Ojai Valley since 1926.
